Maine Public and the Portland Press Herald featured the Manufactured Housing Community Data Dashboard, a tool developed by the Maine Office of Community Affairs' Housing Opportunity Program.
The PPH reported that the public information will help ensure that manufactured housing communities in Maine continue to serve as affordable places for people to live. Maine Public also spoke with Greg Payne, the governor's senior housing adviser, who said the data will help residents compare lot rents at different manufactured housing communities around Maine, and help state policymakers respond to the influx of corporate buyers raising rents in some communities.
